How we look after your information

Insurance & You 2026 is a public-education campaign co-founded and jointly governed by the Insurance Council of Saint Lucia and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. This notice covers this website and the campaign's events, guides and email updates.

• When you register for an event: your first name, last name, email address and phone number, so we can confirm your place, send joining details and tell you if anything changes.
• When you contact us: your name, email, optional phone number and your message, so we can reply.
• When you request a guide or a recording: your email address, so we can send it.
• If you tick the box for campaign updates: your email address, so we can send one update a week during the campaign. This is optional and unticked by default.
• Visits to the website: standard, non-identifying analytics such as pages viewed and the type of device, so we can improve the site. No personal data is placed in web addresses or QR codes.

• We do not sell, rank or recommend insurance products or providers, and we do not collect information to help anyone else do so.
• We never share participant information with partners.
• We do not ask for gender, date of birth, identification numbers or financial details to register for a session.

The campaign team, and the organisations that run the campaign's systems on our behalf (our website and event platform provider and our email service). They process information only on our instructions and only to run the campaign.

Registration and contact details are kept for the duration of the campaign and for up to twelve months afterwards for reporting and follow-up, then deleted. If you opted into email updates, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe or the campaign's mailing list is closed.

• You can unsubscribe from campaign updates at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us.
• You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with the data protection law that applies in Saint Lucia.

The website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies for essential functions and for anonymous visitor statistics. None are used for advertising.

If we change this notice, the version number and effective date at the top of this page will change, and significant changes will be explained here.
